None of them say. 22 short, long, or long rifle round barrel 12-A octagon barrel 12-C 22 short (octagon) 12-B 22 Remington Special (octagon) 12-CS
Value of a 1980 Winchester rifle 22 short octagonal barrel?
There is no legal maximum for a pistol barrel, A RIFLE must have a MINIMUM 16 inch barrel unless registered as a "Short Barreled Rifle", but pistols do not have a maximum.
probably a Saturday night special type pistol imported from Germany. there were so many of this pistrols made world wide that they have no history or worth.....
yes, it will load and fire. unfortunately the shorter cartridge will cause the projectile to discharge without perfect alignment with the the barrel, thus the cylinder will absorb the recoil and ultimately destroy your firearm.
You need to leave the barrel 16" or longer to be legal.
In Ohio, the legal minimum barrel length for a rifle is 16 inches. Any rifle with a barrel length shorter than that would be considered a short-barreled rifle, which is regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA).
On my new 92 made by Mrikou it says 44mag only printed on the barrel. the 44 special is shorter so I can't see why it would be a problem,
The first guns were cannon- they were rather short, and looked like a barrel- a hollow container, round and long.
Taurus bought Rossi. I have a Rossi 62 myself and downloaded the Taurus 62 manual from Taurus. In the middle of the manual they have the schematic and description of parts. I have the short Rossi 62 (maybe it's a youth model?) and it holds 12 rounds of 22lr. This equates to Taurus 62C
A 22 with a long barrel would probably be better because it should go straighter.
Just buy an AK or a special receiver and barrel for the round. Be sure to have a licensed gunsmith do the upgrade. Short answer: Not without incurring further expense.
