Names, in the sense of brands, did not exist. The first rifles were not made by companies, but by independent gunmakers that were members of the gunmaker's guild. Each rifle was a one-of-a-kind, handmade, and did not have a brand name such as Mauser or Winchester. FWIW, the Beretta company of Italy traces its history to a gunmaker (named Beretta) in the 1500's, and claims it is the oldest gunmaker still in operation in the world. Remington makes that claim as the oldest in the US.

We're not sure- but it MAY have been called a Jaegerbuchsen. Rifled barrels began appearing in the mid 15th century in Europe. They were rare, and difficult to load. Professional hunters in Germany (Jaegers) used some of the first. Jaegerbuchsen roughly translates as "hunter's flintlock rifle.
