The H&R 949 revolver was produced by Harrington & Richardson from the 1970s until the early 1990s. The serial numbers for these revolvers typically range from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, but specific year identification can vary based on the serial number itself. To pinpoint the exact year of manufacture, you would need to reference an H&R serial number chart or contact a firearms expert.
1972.
Impossible to answer without knowing who made it. Even then.....
Mid 80s
H&R model 949 was produced from 1960 to 1985. The AJ prefix in the serial number indicates 1972 as the year of manufacture.
Between 1960-85
No way to answer without the serial number.
Mid 80s
You would have to specify what kind of vehicle this serial number is attached to in order for us to determine what year Model 949 with serial number AG7825 was made. We would need to know if it was a boat, a car, a truck, or a motorcycle.
The first model 949 (the fourty-niner) was made from 1961-1972.The second model 949 was made from 1973-1986.
It would help to know the type and model of the firearm you are reaching- H&R made rifles, shotguns, pistols, revolvers and machine guns. If this were, say, a Model 949 revolver, that would be a 1940 made gun.
I bought mine in 1981. Great gun. Very inexpensive....like $80 at the time.
The model 949 was produced from 1960-1985 in two versions, one is blued and called the 949, the other is color case hardened frame, and called the 949 western. As to value matbe $ 200-250 in excellent condition with box. Prices are really increasing on all H&R handguns in top condition. As to age of your piece I will need the serial # or at least the two letter prefix of serial # to give you a date of manufacture. Hope this helps
