Manufactured by Stevens Arms, 1931-1941. Montgomery Wards. Hercules was just their name for this model.
The Stevens 87D was manufactured by J. Stevens Arms Company from the early 1940s until the late 1960s. It is a semi-automatic .22 caliber rifle that gained popularity for its reliability and versatility. Production continued until the company was acquired by Savage Arms in 1960, after which the model was phased out.
To determine the manufacturing date of a Stevens Model 350 based on its serial number, you typically need to consult a specific reference guide or database that outlines the serial number ranges and their corresponding production years. Stevens firearms often have this information available through resources like the manufacturer’s records or firearms history websites. If you have the serial number, you may also reach out to collectors' forums or firearms experts for assistance in identifying the date of manufacture.

No, "V" prefix indicates a 1961-62 mfg. and there were no model 94's built in those years.
I purchased my model 311 back in 1968, as a used shotgun. I was told it was factory made with no serial number. I dont know mfg date, but this will maybe start you in the back dating process.
