The J. Stevens Arms Model 38B, a popular single-shot .22 caliber rifle, was manufactured primarily during the mid-20th century, specifically from 1938 to the early 1960s. This model was known for its simplicity and reliability, making it a common choice for target shooting and small game hunting. Production ended as the company transitioned to other models and eventually ceased operations.

33,500 Model 38s (all series) were manufactured between 1936 and 1945. My books don't give a separate listing for this model, but a single shot would be worth from $35 to $100 or a double from $150 - $250, depending on condition. A .410 can bring a premium of up to 100% from the right buyer.
About 100 bucks if all the parts or there. I'm trying to find one for parts I'm restoring my Grandfathers 410.
