The choke on a weedeater is typically located on the carburetor, often near the air filter. It may be a lever or a knob that you can adjust to control the air-fuel mixture during starting. When starting a cold engine, the choke is usually closed to enrich the mixture, and once the engine warms up, it can be opened for normal operation. Always refer to your specific model's manual for precise location and usage instructions.
Clean and adjust the carburetor. Also clean the air filter.
The idle speed of the carburetor on a featherlite fl20 weedeater can be adjusted by turning the small screw that is located right next to the choke setting switch. For the best adjustment, the featherlite should be on and running. If the weedeater is running rough, the mixture can be adjusted with the low and high (labeled L and H) mixture tamper proof screws.

You might want to check out the Weedeater website. I was able to find and download a manual for my Weedeater line trimmer from there. Don't know if they would have one on the lawn tractor, but certainly worth a try.

Try the WeedEater website (use Google to find it). I found a down-loadable manual for my line trimmer and my leaf blower.
Look on the Gas cap of your weedeater. It should tell you the gas to oil ratio. If its not there try looking in the manual or online.
