No, his restoration came after Napoleon's exile
His grandfather, Louis XV.
Officially, Louis XVI was the last real King of France of the old regime. He was the last King of France with actual reigning power. After him, Napoleon Bonaparte crowned himself emperor of France, so then France was an empire. After Napoleon, the monarchy in France was restored, and Louis XVIII (a.k.a. Comte de Provence, the bother of Louis XVI) became King of France, but he had no reigning power, being only a King in name since the old regime had been abolished in 1792. After him, his brother became King, King Charles X (a.k.a. Comte de Artois, another brother of Louis XVI). After him, Louis Philippe (the cousin of King Charles X) became King. After them, France turned into a Republic and had presidents.
King Louis XVI and his wife Queen Marie Antoinette were king and queen of France from 1774 until 1793. They were eventually executed during the most violent phase of the revolution: the terror.
His birthname was Louis, Duke of Anjou. So Louis was his firstname, and the "Duke of Anjou" was his title by birth. Remember, lastnames weren't invented until Napoleon came along in 1799.

He became President and later Emperor of the French in the Second French Empire.Napoléon Eugène, Prince Imperial or Napoleon IV, Prince Imperial, was the only child of Napoleon III and Napoleon Bonaparte's great nephew, was often referred to as Louis Napoleon
Louis XVIII
King Louis XV of France.
Louis XVIII, he came after Napoleon was sent into exile.
Napoleon was an emperor and was a stronger (which does not immediately mean better) ruler then Louis XVI overall, although he made poor choices. Louis was very indecisive and did not have a clue on how to do a thing corresponding on how to rule a country. Napoleon on the other hand knew what he needed to do to succeed in most situations but made some bad decisions Louis ran from his duty whereas Napoleon fought for his right to lead France to greatness.
When Napoleon escaped from Elba Island the French King Louis XVIII fled from France. In fact the French king left Paris the same day that Napoleon arrived there.

Napoleon was never really king, he just declared himself Emperor of France, after his reign, the Bourbon monarchy was restored to power making King Louis xviii ruler of France.

The problem with this question is: what do you mean by King? and what do you mean by Before? 1792 France had Kings for a thousand years, then Louis XVI lost his head and was replaced by the First Republic. 1802 Within ten years, this had become a dictatorship, 1804 ...and then an Empire, under the Emperor Napoleon I. An Emperor, of course, is a sort of KIng. 1814, 1815 When (10 years later again) Napoleon was defeated and dethroned, he was replaced by KING Louis XVIII. When he died, his brother took over as Charles X, and quite soon he was overthrown 1830 ...and replaced by another King, Louis-Philippe. 1848 ...18 years later, Louis-Philippe was replaced by the Second Republic. So he must be the last King of France before it became a Republic. Except that the President of the new Republic was another Napoleon, 1852 ...who became Emperor Napoleon III four years later. 1870 However, he was replaced after 18 years by the Third Republic. And, although the French are now on the Fifth republic, there hasn't been another King. Yet.
