the treaty of Versailles
The treaty is called the Versailles Treaty. It was signed on June 28, 1919it is considered as the peace settlement between Germany and the Allied Powers that officially ended World War I.However, the conditions in the treaty were so punitive upon Germany that many believe the Versailles Treaty laid the groundwork for the eventual rise of Nazis in Germany and the start of World War II.
The treaty unfairly blamed Germany for WWI, while Germany didn't even start it. They had to cut their military and pay all war reparations. This made Germany a very weak country. Late Germany found themselves in deby. In their time of need a young Adolf Hitler will rise to power promising to fix all the problems in society including the wrongs resulted from the Treaty of Versailles
World War I and the Treaty of Versailles didn't fix any of the problems going on the in world and even created more. World War II was fought over those old and new problems. So, yes, World War I caused World War II.
