****Du Bois's life and work were an inseparable mixture of scholarship, protest activity, and polemics. All of his efforts were geared toward gaining equal treatment for black people in a world dominated by whites and toward marshaling and presenting evidence to refute the myths of racial inferiority.

****W.E.B. Dubois was an author with books about blacks, American racism and other scholarly endeavors. He pushed the Americans to think differently and act differently towards the African Americans long before the Civil Rights Movement. There are pictures on their web site too and the total story about him.
