What challenges ahead do India have to meet to be called a true democracy?

There are many challenges to Indian democracy such as poverty, lazy leaders, child labour, treatment to a girl child etc.

Much the same as any democracy. There are some that are specific, as stated, but India has a long and rich history, a great deal can be learned and a great deal taught.

There are many challenges like poverty and political instability and the slow decision making process, everybody voting which i mean even the uneducated.

Another problem faced by almost all democracies including India is corruption.

Political instability happens because leaders keep on changing.

However,despite all this democracy is the best form of government.

The Indian democracy faces many challenges. The first is corruption. This keeps funds intended for infrastructure to be kept in the hands of corrupt officials. Another problem is income inequality. India has a wide gap between the wealthy and poorest of poor.
