The 4 countries of the Central Powers were Germany, Italy, Austria, and Hungary (but note that at the time, Austria and Hungary were part of what was known as the Austro-Hungarian Empire).
In world war 1 the central powers were Germany, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman empire. Italy was part of that alliance but because it switched sides before the name changed from the triple alliance to the central powers it is generally not considered a central power.

There were no Central Powers in World War II. Two of the countries that made up the C.P. were gone before 1939. The two sides in World War II were the Allied Forces and the Axis Powers.
