the typrewriter was just a simple contraption and people started getting to fully get the hang of the typwriter in the 1800's and finally people got around to coming up with new technology and then afterwards the computer came. people were inpired by the typewriter and now we have internet and all these different uses for the computer. ALMOST EVERYONE USES COMPUTERS! and without the typewriter we would not have the computer and i probablly would not be answering this question right now so the typewriter impacted America and the whole world by inspiring others to come up with new advances in technology. peace and love.
