After WW II Elections were held in Greece. The polls were highly rigged in favor of British backed EEDE party. This led to a civil war between communists party (DA) and EEDE. This forced USA to intervene and support nationalist forces. The civil war continued till 1949.
I think the Cold War happened in this year.
The USA and USSR competed during the cold war

In 1952 Greece joined NATO
then the war would have ceased to be cold.
Yes, I would say so. The Greek Civil War is regarded as the first of many Cold War conflicts, beginning in 1944 and in progress when the Cold War began in 1945. As it was a definite loss for Communism, Greece remained staunchly on the side of Democracy throughout the Cold War.
The Korean war was the first hot war in the cold war.
this dick went up your pusy
Communist China occupied it.
The Korean war
It was uneasy and then caused the Cold War.
Cold War means NO FIGHTING. There was no war during the cold war, with the exceptions of the two "HOT BATTLES" of the cold war, the Korean War and Vietnam War. Actual war between the the USSR & the US never happened.
More American above-ground nuclear test explosions happened during this decade than any other during the Cold War.
Actually, America's longest period of sustained economic growth happened between 1945 and 1965 - all Cold War years. America didn't have a bad time during the Cold War; the opposite was the truth.
