Prepared by Zibusiso Prince Ncube:it is important to note that other monarchial governments like Prussia an Russia felt threatened by the radicalism of the frenchmen hence they tried everything possible to suppress the revolution and this is evidenced by declaration of Pilnitz by Prussia. They feared that if the revolutionarists succeed in ousting the French monarchy, their subjects will try by all means to do the same.
