The day after World War II ended in Europe on May 8, 1945, is often referred to as V-E Day, or Victory in Europe Day. It marked the official surrender of Nazi Germany and the end of the war in Europe. Celebrations erupted across Allied nations as people rejoiced in the defeat of fascism and the liberation from wartime suffering.
D-Day did not come before world war 2 and a D-Day never comes before a war - it is a planned attack/mission/operation during a war. D-Day is the first day of the battle or operation. The subsequent days are called D day plus 2, D Day plus 3 and so on until the battle or operation is over.
The Great War, or the War to end all Wars.
The Great War
World War I was originally called "The Great War" (not the Civil War)
World War I officially ended on November 11, 1918, a day now commemorated as Armistice Day. In many countries, it is also known as Remembrance Day or Veterans Day, honoring those who served in the war and recognizing the sacrifices made. The signing of the armistice marked a cessation of hostilities on the Western Front and paved the way for the eventual peace treaties.
The day has no special name.
V-day.

4/25/1915 was the day the ANZAC forces endered World War 1 and on April 1941 they set up in Greece to start fighting World War 2. But ANZAC day in New Zealand and Australia is celebrated on the 4/25 date from the first war. I could not find a date they were actually called up though.
