World War I, also known as the Great War, has had profound and lasting impacts on the world that continue to resonate today. Here are several reasons why its legacy is still relevant:
1. Geopolitical Changes
**** Redrawing of Borders:** The war led to the collapse of several empires, including the Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman, Russian, and German empires. This resulted in the creation of new countries and the redrawing of borders, influencing modern geopolitical boundaries and international relations.
**Rise of New Powers: The U.S. emerged as a significant global power, and its influence on world affairs increased substantially. The shift in power dynamics from Europe to North America and the eventual rise of the U.S. as a superpower can be traced back to this period.
2. Impact on International Relations

No. As a matter of fact, the US backed out of international affairs after WW1 by withdrawing from the League of Nations. It did become a world power after WW2
Tecumseh fought in the war of 1812. That's how he made the world a better place for us to live in today. Tecumseh was a native american. He gave up his everything for us. During the war Tecumseh's death had occured. Tecumseh fought for Canada and today Canada is a free country where no one needs to worry that their child might get shot in the war, or that their family can die anytime because of the war. The war of 1812 has made a big difference in our life today. Though Tecumseh had fought in that war so there is some credit to him also because he fought until the end of the war but unfortunatley at the end he died :(
No, the U.S. entered World War 1 in 1917.

One war less is always a good thing.
It matters a lot to us now because we had people who died for are freedom if it was not for them were would be now?Next time someone asks you (what does the revolutionary war matter to us now.)Then you will say "they changed the world for us'.
It was as it is today a democracy government
It would be a very different world today.
Same as today, less meat, fat , sugar that were rationed
There are no surviving US Veterans of World War 1 now. Think about it most of them were born in 1899. They would be 111 years old if they were alive today.
If US Treasury wont honor try a collector on ebay
