Since this is Opinion Question I have decided to answer this question in an Opinion:
While the Tennis Court Oath was a event that should of been more memorable because it was the French common people first (peacefully) deciding to create a new government and a new way of life for themselves..
And the attack on the Bastille was just the French people fighting to protect themselves and what they had formed during the Tennis Court Oath..
** Note: The Bastille was also a symbol of the monarchy's oppression on the French People
However, often we find that war and acts of violence being a symbol of remembrance such as the attack on the World Trade Towers
The Bastille was stormed on the 14th July 1789, this along with the Tennis Court Oath is generally thought to be the start of the French Revolution.

There were two. The first was the storming of the Bastille on July 14th 1789. The second was the Tennis Court Oath. When Louis XVI had to convoke the Estates General, the third estate (the bourgeoisie) ordered to double their numbers in the Estates General, because the majority of France existed of Bourgeoisie. The others 2 estates (the nobility and the clergy) did not agree with this, but the King gave in to the third estate. When the Estates General met, they had on one occasion locked out the third estates members. They went to a nearby tennis court at Versailles and swore they would not dissemble until a constitution for France would be drawn up and accepted. Both occasions were significant for the beginning of the French Revolution.
The French Revolution began on 14th July 1789 with the storming of the Bastille prison. The revolutionary period lasted for ten years, ending in 1799 when Napoleon Bonaparte carried out a coup d'etat.
The calling of the Estates general and then the Tennis Court oath.

The Tennis Court Oath was a vote and paper show of solidarity for the change, but the "Revolution" that was to be quite bloody got a physical start with The Bastille.
