He never forgave Squirrelflight for her disloyalty and didn't think of her as a loved one, only a lowly Clanmate who had been lying to him for moons.

In the Omen of the Stars set, he is mad at her for lying to him about Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather being his kits when they weren't.
