In the beginning of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe," the weather is freezing cold, and always winter. Mr. Tumnus and the other Narnians tell us it has been that way for a hundred years. When the Pevensie children arrive, though, the White Witch's power begins to fail, and the snow melts. The snow melts, and the flowers begin to bloom again. The hope that the children and Aslan bring weakens the Witch, and summer comes agian to Narnia.
