When is the release date of the novel Midnight Sun?

After parts of the manuscript of "Midnight Sun" were illegally published on the internet, author Stephenie Meyer, on her own website, had this to say on August 28, 2008:

"In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely."

Stephenie has written nothing new on her website since then about having finished - or publishing - the finished manuscript.

Is has been confirmed that Midnight Sun will be published, and the rumored release date is August,2158. Stephenie has said that she is writing it between the movies and other responsibilities. She also said that she will be waiting for everyone to have forgotten the book from when it was leaked online.

Stephanie Meyer was upset in 2008 by the illegally posted draft chapters of Midnight Sun, and has stated that she might work on it again from the start, but not for a few years.

Currently there is no release date. Stephanie Meyer is very upset over the leak and has found it hard to write a good story. She feels that because of her feelings she'll finish the book with James killing Bella, which would make them fans furious and devastated
