Midnight Sun is not a completed book. Someone close to Stephenie Meyer posted the incomplete book (leaked) on the internet without her knowledge. What they did was illegal. Stephenie Meyer is moving on to other projects and said she may come back to finish writing Midnight Sun some day, but for now it is on the back burner. She has posted the draft to the completed chapters on her web site, and ask that readers not read the other versions out there. She said the version that was leaked was a very early draft and full of errors and typos. They are also illegally posted. The version on her site is posted with her consent, making it legal. She says to please keep in mind that it is an early work and is not to the same quality that a finished product would have been.
