Hollyleaf killed Ashfur. She killed him because he knew Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw were not Hollyleaf,Lionblaze,and Jayfeathers real parents. He had threatened squirrelflight that he would tell the whole clan of her secret, which would get her thrown out of the clan. ( he referred to it as a lie ) Since the 3 young warriors find out that he meant to embarrass Squirrelflight in a gathering, hollyleaf killed him. She tells him that he'll be making Thunderclan look weak in front of all te other clans, just after the Great Battle.
