Why did Stephenie Meyer make Bella so stupied in The Twilight Saga?

Isabella Swan is "stupid" because of the fact that she is human in 3/4 of the series. Meyer made her this way because normal teenage girls should follow Bella and (1) fall in love and not maintain a life with out a hot teenage male by ones side and (2) make the worst decision of all after stating that she never wanted kids.

Bella's stupidity is Meyer's stupidity on what normal girls act like.

It makes other girls look stupid.

I don't like that fact that Meyer thinks that all women should be in the kitchen and falling over every guy that doesn't own a shirt.
