well, if you pay really close attention to the book while your reading it, the stuff on the cover is there. like in twilight, edward says "twilight is the best part of [the day], but it's also the worst." or something like that, and the apple on the cover- in the cafeteria he catches the apple for her when she drops it.
In the 2nd book, she says "it was very dark tonigh-maybe a new moon." or something... i don't know what the rest of the cover stuff is, but u could probably find it somewhere online...
that answer was wrong. in new moon there is a deeper meaning in the title but you have to read eclipse to get it. *SPOILERS*in eclipse when Bella goes to visit Jacob when he has been injured, she says to him that Edward is the moon in her life and that Jacob is her sun so the title of new moon means that instead of Edward there is someone else that she loves, and that could possibly take his place as her moon.
i think the ribbon represents Bella. the ribbon is torn just as she is torn over if she wants Edward or Jacob more.
Eclipse has a ribbon on it and the ribbon is rippling.
the ribbon is Bella. she is torn apart between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. this what i think the cover of Eclipse is.
In Eclipse, Bella is trying to choose between Jacob and Edward, but she keeps holding on to both of them. Even in one part of the book Bella says that they are pulling her apart. The ribbon on the front is Bella, and she being torn in two.
I spose it means Bella's torn between Jacod and Edward and the treaty also is represnted by the ribbon.
it is a broken ribbon
Imagery? There are now pictures in the twilight saga but the cover picture for eclipse is a red ribbon that is torn in half only connected to together by thin threads. Hope this helps! :)
The front cover represents Bella's heart as well as her life, as the delicate balance is frayed (Just as the ribbon). Her heart is torn between Jacob and Edward. But the cover is open to different interpretations and many people will think differently. -Captain Libeka
the ribbon is supposed to Bella and the tear represents her unwillingness to give up her human life. also the ribbon represents her choice between edward and Jacob and how she doesn't want to give up either
It represents Bella's emotional state. One half of this ribbon represents Jacob, and the other, Edward. The frayed bit in the middle shows how she loves both of them, but in the end can only choose one.
Eclipse by Stephinie Meyer is the book after New Moon in the Twilight saga. There are 4 books, and they are in this sequence: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn. Twilight has the apple in a person's hands on the cover, New Moon has a white flower with red around the edges, Eclipse has a red ribbon on the cover (the ribbon is breaking) and Breaking Dawn had a chessboard with a white Queen chess piece and a red pawn back behind it. Hope you love this series, I think its amazing!
The torn ribbon represents Bella's relationship with Jacob and Edward. She has to choose between the two, and one of her relationships gets torn.
