LalithGeorge says A minor boy or girl should never be given permission by the parents to drink any form of alcohol.
That may or may not be true. Some parents might think receiving communion or taking part in a seder or taking Nyquil or taking a shot of brandy after staying out too long ice skating might have other benefits; some parents may wish the child's first experiences with alcohol to be where proper social drinking is modeled instead of binge drinking in college.
The more useful answer is probably that Section 30-89 of Chapter 545 of the Connecticut General Laws (a) prohibits minors from buying or attempting to buy alcohol, (b) prohibits minors from possessing alcohol, and (c)(3) exempts from those prohibitions minors accompanied by their parent, guardian, or spouse who is 21 years old or older. There does not seem to be any general prohibition on minors consuming alcohol. There is also a general exemption in (c) for religious purposes.

no
Absolutely Not.
It's the parents choice not the law what are they gonna do anyway it's on your own property .
Not without their parents approval. There is no age of emancipation in Iowa. A minor must turn 18 years of age before they are legally free to do as they please.
No
No, in California it is illegal for a minor to consume alcohol even with parental permission on home property. California's alcohol laws prohibit individuals under the age of 21 from possessing or consuming alcohol in any circumstance, including at home with parental consent.
In Iowa, a minor who leaves home without permission is considered a runaway. Law enforcement may take the runaway into custody and return them to their parents or legal guardian. Parents may also request assistance from the court to address the situation, which could involve counseling or other interventions.
18 without parental permission.
Not specifically familiar with TN law, but I can tell you that any other place I'm aware of, the parents or guardians of the drinking minor could be charged with either "Child Neglect" or "Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor."
The age of majority in Iowa is 18. The fact that you've graduated high school does not change the fact that you haven't reached the age of majority. Therefore you are still a minor and subject to the control and supervision of your parents. You can move out at 17 IF your parents agree to allow it. If not, then you have to wait until you
Nothing should happen. It is legal for minors to drink alcohol in the family home under the guidance of the parent or guardian.
Yes but ONLY if there is an adult over the age of 21 monitoring them. Preferably the parents or legal guardians. The person who purchased the alcohol and allowed the minor to have it and left them unattended would be contributing to the delinquency of a minor, which is against the law.
