Why do teenagers get abortions?

* Some teenage girls are terrified (many are very young) and fear facing their parent(s). They see abortion as an easy way out. Then there are some young women that use it as a Birth Control method which is wrong. With youth there is little wisdom and when one starts to mature they realize that abortion is not always the way to go. Sometimes giving birth is a good thing and either raising that child with the help of their parents (if the parents are willing) or old enough to marry the father of the baby only if they are truly in love is the answer. Then there is the route of adopting out the baby. There are so many couples out there wanting so badly to have a baby, but can't and are quite willing to give a baby a good home. It's an individuals choice. * Mainly because no one wants a baby in high school or Jr. high.

Usually because they feel they are too young to have children. Some feel they never want to have kids and then there is also the matter of education, relationship with the family and boyfriend, lack of money etc. The reasons are usually the same for adults and teens.
