The person who wrote the paragraph below were wrong other animals act by instinct they cannot think like we do or love because they only reproduce to keep there species alive , mothers protect there young so that there Geens may be carried throughout the generations, mates remain and protect each other so that they can reproduce properly,and mates may look like they love each other when for example they lick each other its because they want there mate to stay healthy so that there babies can survive. There is no love in the animal world other than us...its quite sad actually

Definetly NOT. Many animals, mostly mammals, have a spirit and emotions. Humans are just one of these creatures. Some people think that humans are the only sentient creatures on Earth, but this is quite obviousley not true. So many animals have shown affection towards others, includin animals of diffrent species, that it is quite clear that all animal should have rights. People with pets understand this very well, as can people that have watched wild animals interact with each other in the wild. Animals have love for their siblings, many animals love their mate and the males will do anything to protect the females, and mothers love their babies and will do anything to protect them.
