All dogs will be fine with a fence. in fact every dog should have a fence. weather invisible or a wooden or mesh one. not all dogs r meant to stay out side all the time and your dog may not like to.

First off, make your yard uninviting to raccoons by keeping trash secured and not leaving pet food out. the best way is to train them, everytime they fowl inside take them over to the stain and tell them no several times then put them outside or in a kennel, repeat this for every time it happens. when the dog uses the restroom outside give them a treat. it is a lot harder to train an older dog.
