It would not be wise to stack two 10 gallon aquariums together with one being upside down. If you add silicone to seal them together, you will not have any way to remove a portion of the aquarium to feed the fish or change the water.
right around 400#.... water is about 8# per gallon.
You should only have 1 fish per gallon of water in a fish tank. I wouldn't put more than 2 or 3 Neon Tetras in a 4 gallon aquarium with 1 Betta.
2 I think.
if going by standard foot print of 96x24x24" then roughly 3/8"
A 29 gallon aquarium is far too small for a stingray for all but the most temporary of housing arrangements. So, no.
Usually when you purchase a water heater for the aquarium, It keeps the temp between 72-78 degrees. I have a ten gallon tank with a heater in it and have never had a problem.
Aquariums can be very expensive but they don't have to be. If you buy a tank that isn't too big then you can find one at a reasonable price, around ten dollars for a ten gallon tank.
That would be a standard 29 gallon aquarium
When looking for information on where to purchase a 40 Gallon aquarium, a great resource is to look at pet stores in your area. Most have official websites. Online retailers like Pet Smart offer a wide variety of information on different types of aquariums in various sizes on their website. Pet Smart also offers a store finder and delivery.
There are 10 gallon aquariums available online from private and commercial sellers. These are small enough to make delivery easy and more affordable than a large tank. For a cheap 10 gallon fish tank I would take a look at eBay or one of the online shops. The link in the resource list will take you to 10 gallon tanks currently selling on eBay.
You can put one maybe 2 one-inch fishes in your one gallon aquarium
72x24x24
Its all your choice, my friend. However, the bigger the aquarium, the better the ecosystem- so I'd go with the 40 gallon. I have a 40 gallon fishtank myself.
The rule of thumb for stocking levels in a freshwater aquarium is 1 inch of fish per gallon of aquarium. For instance, five 1" guppies in a 5 gallon tank, or ten 3 inch cichlids in a 30 gallon aquarium.
The actual weight of the aquarium itself would depend on the materials used. The rocks in the bottom would add some weight as well. If you want to know how much the water weighs. The mass (weight) of fresh water is about 8.35 pounds per gallon, so that is 459.25 pounds for the water.
Roughly 8.5 lbs per gallon. You do the Math.
