Yes. Alligators and crocodiles are astonishingly fast runners, and are powerful swimmers.
Sure he can. Take care with the kisses if you have a cold.
Mites, fleas, lice, and other parasites tend to be quite species-specific. For instance, the human head louse is a different species from the human public louse, and neither is closely related to the human body louse. A mite that lives on a lizard probably wouldn't effectively infest a human, and vice-versa.
Yes if you are sick with a cold it MAY end up that your dog may catch it! My cat got sick from me once. I had a really bad cold and it caught it. If you have an animal and you have a cold it probably will catch it. Animals usully catch colds not a lot of other things they can catch from you!
No. Not unless say the food was spoiled and gave you food poisoning and the dog ate the same thing but not it's not contagious or anything like that.
Most bats catch prey using their ears through a process called echolocation. They send out a high pitch (high frequency sound) which is above the human hearing range, and this sound echos off of their surroundings. Their ears are designed to catch this echo, and then they process the echos to get a sort of "mental image" of their surroundings. See Related Links for more info.
