It's also common sense to not interfere with advanced predators. Lions are advanced hunters, extremely strong and masters at camouflage. A lion who feels in danger will cry out to his or her nearby pack - chances are you'll end up as food for the lions, not the other away around. They're called the "kings" of Africa for a reason.

Also, lions may carry parasites and bacteria in their bodies that are extremely harmful to humans.
