While they can it's not a good idea. Their dietary needs are similar but different. Additionally, a rabbit has powerful hind legs and can injury or kill a guinea pig with a kick. Some rabbits and guinea pigs have been known to live together peacefully for years, but often that is not the case.
I have a rabbit and a guinea pig and a rabbit living in a puppy pen together. I give them separate cages. They love each other and get along great.
No. A Cottontail rabbit is not a rabbit at all. It is a Hare, a cousin to our Domestic rabbits. In-fact if you put a female Hare in a Male rabbits cage, or visa versa they can't breed. They look they same but they are not the same thing.
Lionhead rabbits are a breed of domestic rabbit, and when it comes to care and behaviour -- including the rabbit's habitat or cage -- lionheads are exactly like other pet rabbits. See the related questions below for information.
Dutch Rabbits live with humans in pens or in rabbit hutches.
You should only keep one rabbit in a hutch. Rabbits get territorial so they fight when put together. The only time you could put two rabbits in one hutch would be if they have always been in the same hutch and they are the same sex, but this does not always work. Its always safer to place them in their own hutches
A male rabbit that is separated from females will mate everytime a female is put into the same cage as that male...hence the saying "screw like rabbits" when people do a lot of "screwing"
NO ! NEVER mix species together UNLESS they're found in the same environment naturally !
If they're spayed / neutered, yes.
Same place as a male rabbit
definitely. Rabbits are very social, and get along easily with other peaceful animals. Just make sure the mouse is good with the arrangement
