What you can do is set them both in the cage and if they stand on their legs and it looks like their sniffing each other and their not squeaking that is Mock Playing. If they start really fighting and non stop squeaking but you want them to breed set them in a box and make them need each other. Once that happens they wont be fighting and such. Set them back in the cage and watch their moves very carefully for the next few days. In a few weeks they should breed and when they do the female will start attacking the male so its best to take the male out and put him in another cage. its a 14-18 days wait for the deliver.She will be sleeping/eating/drinking a lot so don't be alarmed. When the female is going to give birth soon she shall go in a corner and make a nest. If you want baby boys keep it in a cold climate if you want girls put her in a warm climate and if you want it to be random put it in a regular climate.If she is done with that she shall stay there for a long time so its best not to mess with her. When she has given birth DO NOT TOUCH THE BABIES. She will eat them to protect them. If she does eat some/one/all of the babies is because she thinks that its not safe or cutting the numbers down.Wait 3-4 weeks for the best chances of her not eating them to touch her or the babies.

Well actually first you need to make the hamster get to know you better to be held. You can do that by putting your finger into the cage and not near it but let it come to you.Once it sniffs your finger it will know you a little. Softly talk to your hamster and attempt to pet it. If it runs away from you just repeat the process. In a few weeks you might be able to pick it up or the hamster will be scared of you. You need to make sure their food is in good quality and their water is in good supply. Robo hamsters like to be given treats like cheese,kiwi, broccoli,nuts, and all sorts of things. Also if your hamster seems to be sleeping a lot and hiding a lot it might be time to introduce a friend depending on what gender it is.
