I am not sure that they eat raw meat but theydefinitely eat cooked chicken. I have seen them do just that at my neighbour Ray (RIP-we'll miss you) and Carol's (wife of Ray) cottage at the beach. Now keep in mind that these are very tame chipmunks and may not apply to wild ones, who have little to no human contact. But since it seems that are known mostly as herbivores aside from bugs, I would not suggest feeding them any in case it is detrimental to their health.
Yes, a Chipmunk does have enlarged front teeth for gnawing.
Yes! They are rodents as are Squirrels, and Mice and Rats.
It has been claimed chipmunks can and cannot but even though I am not entirely sure I would have to say no chipmunks can't chew through wood.
Yes they do.
Yes chipmunks have jaws.
yes
No, puppies chew on everything!!
Yes they can
chipmunks make a burrow through the ground and has all its food in that hole. mostly they hibernate underground:)
If you paint your rabbits hutch or cage it wont be able to chew the wood, but you should give it some wood to chew or else its teeth will grow too long if this happens consult a vet
Yes, this is a good idea to give them wood to chew on. It will keep them from chewing on things that they should not chew on.
They chew it
Chipmunks can be very dangerous rodents. Chipmunks can chew through wood and they can cause a lot of damage to a house very quickly. They also can multiply quickly which can be another big problem.
it depends if your asleep or awake, you can hear hampstes chew through wood but only if your awake, they may wake you up if they are really loud, but they shouldnt be too loud, ino this from personal experiance
Many chew on wood, but a beaver is one.
Mice cannot chew through metal bars, even if they are thin. They can, however, chew through wood, even if it is quite thick. So the solution is to use the right material, not to make the cage thick.
Horses can't actually cut through would, but they do chew on it (usually called cribbing).
They don't chew on wood, but they do sometimes eat bark.
yes, they most defnitly do. they'll chew through it as well
Yes. The softer woods of the northwest are common targets for weasels, or ermines.
Yes, they are capable of removing shingles and may chew through the underlying wood to gain entry.
Rats have very strong teeth. It depends on what type of rat. Some rats can chew throguhl and others can only chew through a soft surface. I have 2 rats. 1 of my rats can chew through a blanket. The other one can chew through much stronger stuff.
They should not be able to if it is made well. They will most likely chew on the bars (you should try to discourage this-as the paint is not good for them-by giving them wood chew toys) but they can't get through them as they are just guinea pigs.
