They may try, but won't get very far.
Cornish-rock chickens can live a long life if their diet is controlled. However, due to their fast growth Cornish-rock crosses begin to develop health problems such as arthritis after eight weeks old. The chickens were bred specifically to put on a lot of weight in a very short period of time, not for longevity. Their weight is much greater than their frame can support and it is not advisable to keep these birds much longer than 8 weeks.
cornish hens or miniature chickens.
Chickens are capable of flying short distances, usually up to about 200 feet, but they are not as strong fliers as other birds. Domesticated chickens have a heavier body mass and their ability to fly has been reduced through selective breeding.
Chickens can typically fly short distances or up to about 10 feet high. However, most domesticated chickens are not strong fliers due to selective breeding that has focused more on egg production and meat quality rather than flying ability.
all chickens can fly a little but not very high or for very long - just about enough to get over a fence. wild chickens fly to get away from predators.
I had to do a thesis statement for Cornish Cross, White Leghorn, and Plymouth Rock chickens, so i used: "I will be telling you about three differant chicken breeds, Cornish Cross, White Leghorn, and Plymouth Rock." It's not the best but it works for me

Cornish Rock chickens are a cross that is bred solely for meat. They normally don't live long enough to lay eggs. They are bred to grow too fast so they are prone to have heart attacks if allowed to grow much past broiler stage. If they don't die they will be crippled due to gaining so much weight while their bones are mostly just gristle. It would be cruel to allow a cornish rock to live past broiler stage.
No, they are hybrids and therefore do not lay eggs at all.
