Persimmons are not dangerous to dogs because they are a non-citric fruit. But persimmon seeds (which are fairly rare) can cause intestinal blockage, especially in smaller dogs. For larger dogs (60 lbs+) then the seeds are not a problem. I have a Rottweiler and she eats several persimmons each day from our back yard where we have at least 6 very large persimmon trees.

Dogs shouldn't be fed people food, but if you were to give them a little treat of dog-safe people food it would be ok. Peaches are ok for dogs if you remove the pit and stem. But I wouldn't feed a dog peaches on a daily basis. I hope this helps..:)
