Rabbits like plums but they can only eat them in moderation, as an occasional treat. Plums contain a high amount of natural sugar, so give a small amount only. Plums also have a unique nutrient which makes the very healthy, so they're a good treat choice! But, too many treats can make a rabbit sick. The House Rabbit Society recommends no more than 2 tablespoons of fruit per day for a normal, healthy 6 pound rabbit. Do not let the rabbit eat the pit/stone inside the plum: take it out before you give it to the rabbit, because it's very dangerous.
