yes rats can see in the dark, they are nocturnal. :)
My rats are far from nocturnal. They are awake when I am awake. If I come down at 2 am they are awake, if I am around at 2p, they are awake. soooooo can rats see in the dark. Will tell you tomorrow cos now they are in the dark and I have left new toys around their cage to play with, and they haven't seen them in daylight. If they are moved tomorrow morning I guess they can see in the dark. They have an enormous cage so it can't all be by accident
Yes. Better than we can since they are nocturnal.
The answer is no!It sees all different colours in different ways, black is a tricky colour for a mouse to see as they arn`t so much nocturnal and their bodies find it hard to comunicate with other species of animals.
Well, A Little While Ago We Had Rats In Our House, And They Only Came Out When It Was Dark, But Rats Will Come Out If It's Light And They Dont Fear Anything. I used To Have A Pet Rat And She Was Out In The Light, But Became Fun At Night In The Dark.
Rabbits are colourblind and do not see the same colours that we do. Rats can see blues and greens but not red at all. Black eyed rats can see one third of the humans can while red eyed rats can see only one thrid of what a black eyes rat sees.
A rats front teeth can grow to five inches long in a year--they constantly wear them down. Rats can't vomit. So when they feel sick, they eat clay. Rats can tread water for up to three days. Rats can survive without water longer than a camel. Rats can eat chocolate and be okay. Rats are colorblind. Rats can contaminate food. Rats love dark places.
Rats live anywhere. They prefer dark places, which may be either moist or dry, such as cellars and basements, under houses, and in thick vegetation. Rats are native to all continents except for Antarctica, and there are many species of rats. It is interesting to note that, before European settlement, there were no black or brown rats (the most common varieties) in either Australia or New Zealand, but only native rats which are quite different to the general public's perception of rats.

Yes, but it's better if they are in a dark room for living spaces. They have much more rods then cones in their eyes. We are the opposite, we have more cones then rods. In other words, rats can see better in night, like bats and cats, and we see better in afternoon when the sun is out.
No they cant see rats through there invisibility spells
