Ants are not pets; you cannot keep them as pets.
In Clay County, Missouri and person can have as many pets as they would like. As long as the animals have the proper clean housing, food, water, space and they are not causing problems for neighbors.
Wild mice do not do well as pets. You would be better off if you went to a pet shop and purchased a pet mouse. They are cheap.
Pets could have bugs on them like ticks and fleas.
Only if you keep a pest as a pet :)

Climb out of Tank -- I have a red claw crayfish ( cherax destructor ) and it climbs a lot, also likes to make holes and attack my fish. Do not keep slow moving or long fined fish in the same tank, as the crayfish will attack it and soon eat it.

One problem with keeping crayfish as pets is that most crayfish can not be in the same tank. The biggest one usually becomes dominant and injures or even kills the others. Another problem is that if a crayfish and their tank are not properly taken care of it can begin to smell very bad.
