yes the pit bull breed. should have there ears croped at about ten to twelve weeks of age. there are a number of reasons for this but the main one is the pup ears when the are born flop like lab ears. and after six weeks to twelve weeks there ears will start to lift up and stick out to the side. the reason they stick out to the side and not up. is they are to heave. at this time once you crop them and take the wait off and shape them the almost naturally stick up at this time. and that is why pit bull ears stand up allot faster then other breeds like dobbies, grate Danes, boxers, and so on. most of those breeds need to have a brace on for about twenty one days . and the pit bull will only need to be taped to a quarter of that time.. so i hope this helped you on your quest on cropping ears...........
There is no reason to crop a dogs ears. It is painful for the dog and is unnecessary.
Baby rabbits should open their eyes around day 11 or 12 after birth.
You cannot crop a newborn puppy's ears until they are about 10 days old, or until the ears "open." It will usually take up to three corrections to make the ears match, because they seem to grow at different rates. I do the first cropping at ten days, then do the corrections at one week intervals, using a little lidocaine to minimize pain. I also believe in pain meds and antibiotics after cropping. It is a very painful procedure. Some countries have banned ear cropping, which I think is wonderful. I try to talk people out of cropping when possible but it seems more humane at the younger ages, rather than waiting until the puppy is 9 weeks old or older. Dr. C. Hobbs
A lopped earred baby rabbit can have lopped ears right away (10 days old) to 2 months. If they are not lopped by 2 months of age they probably won't lop at all or they will not lop properly. Baby rabbits that are born in the winter are more likely to have poor ear carriage than ones born in the summer.
i would like to know everything about pitbulls with red noses.

No, this is why you don't crop the ears!
I would not recommend it. They should be cropped between 8 and 12 weeks of age. Older dogs have more scarring issues, drooping, infection and difficulty leaving them alone to heal.
Ear mutilation is usually done around 9 to 11 weeks of age. Any later and the ears may not want to stand. You are trying to find that time when the puppy is old enough to handle the butchery and anesthesia well, but young enough that the cartilage is not set in their ears yet.
4 months is the best and after 8 months is not recomended.
The procedure is usually done with Doberman Pinschers, Boxers, Boston Terriers, or Great Danes. Generally, ear cropping is performed when dogs are between 9 and 12 weeks old. After this, the chances of success drop, as Fido’s ears may already be drooping.
6 weeks old if its eating puppy food if not 8 weeks old
Its probly wants to play or it teething
My mini bull terrier had/has a large belly and he is now 12 weeks. I was informed from my vet that it was because my dog had worms. You need to get him checked out.
You should get every puppy or dog at at least 5 or 6 weeks old.
We bought a German shepherd pup in October. We brought him home at 6 weeks old. His ears stood up at 7 weeks old. I have kept picture logs and specifically marked the day his ears stood up.
There is no age limit to when you should dock your dogs ears. it is perfectly fine to crop your dogs ears even when they are fully grown. some vets may not do it because it will be a longer procedure but im sure there is a vet that would do it. some people even get their dogs ears crop when they a few years old. the only difference from when their older is that the taping would have to be on longer and the healing may take some time
