hamsters can be given small amounts of milk as a treat, it's not often done because a hamster can easily tip a bowl of milk over, compromising the hygiene of its enclosure
it also sours quickly in warm conditions

A syrian hamster needs more room than what people think. They are very active and night and require :- a wheel - definatly needed more than anything. a house or two - to sleep in. tubes and chew toys - to give it something to do and hide in. water bottle - to drink from. food bowl - not desperatly needed as food can be scattered around so they have to rumage for it.

Dwarf hamsters are small pets that don't eat very much. Two tablespoons of dry hamster food, bought from a pet shop(I get mine at Pets Mart.) Dwarf hamsters only eat one forth of there food which is not very much, although your hamster is not very big at all.Always give your hamster that amount and if you own more than three adults, give a little more to prevent fighting over food,so remember always give your hamster a little more than it eats when you own more than three adults. And change your food daily.

Special cat milk that is especially designed for them is best. If you give them human milk they get an upset stomach. Cat milk isn't that expensive and its not hard to get hold of either. :)

There is no data for that. Anyone can drink 2% milk one day, and then never drink it again the next day. More people drink 1% milk than 2% milk, however.
