Yes, so long as the rabbits are bonded (this means they're friends and you can 100% trust them not to hurt each other), they can be kept in the same hutch. Unless you have two females raised together from the same litter, then in order to bond two rabbits you need to spay/neuter them first. Never put two males together if they're not neutered because they could (and often do) fight to the death. Two unsprayed females can also seriously hurt themselves, and a male/female mix will either result in injury or pregnancy. Considering all the needy rabbits in animal shelters across the world, it's not a good idea to bring more rabbits into the world by allowing them to mate. How much does a rabbit hutch cost?

The cost of a rabbit hutch can vary widely based on size, material, and features. You can find basic models starting around $50-$100, while larger and more elaborate hutches can cost upwards of $200-$500 or more. It's important to consider the needs of your specific rabbit to ensure they have enough space and comfort in their hutch.

Where do you buy a cheap rabbit hutch from?

If you are looking to spend under £50 on a Hutch you might be better buying materials and making one yourself. Another option would be to look for a 2nd hand hutch through craigslist, freecycle, local papers etc. Another option is to have the rabbit in the house rather than outside (they make Great Housepets) and then buy a rabbit cage which tend to be cheaper than wooden hutches, but not suitable for use outside the house. Or if you are in the North-East call 07758501991 for good quality rabbit hutches for under 50 pounds.

How big should a guinea pig hutch be for 2 guinea-pigs?

It doesn't matter what breed the rabbit is or what the rabbit looks like (although bigger rabbits of course need more room than smaller rabbits) -- the question of hutch size comes down to this: a hutch must be big enough to contain all the necessary supplies with enough room left over for the rabbit to stand up to full height, stretch out to full length, and hop a few paces at least. Any rabbit enclosure needs a litter box, hay source, water source, hidey-hole/nest area (a place to hide whenever feeling anxious -- this could be as simple as a cardboard box), comfortable resting surfaces, and some toys/play structures/diversions. Do guinea pigs and dwarf rabbits get along better than another guinea pig with another guinea pig?

No, I doubt it. I do have a friend who has a rabbit and guinea pig in the same hutch but guinea pigs are more friendly to there own species; especially if they're from the same litter.

How tall is the average rabbit hutch?

well i just made a cage with an outdoor wire area of 3ft wide, 6ft long and 2ft tall and a wooden area of 3ft x 3ft x 2ft and it gives my rabbit plenty of space to run around. but i think that with anything smaller you'd need to take the rabbit or walk or let it roam the house ect.

What eats rabbits inside?

Members of the weasel family, Mustelidae. These carnivores will bite a rabbit and hang on until it dies of blood loss. They will then bite a small hole in the soft belly and eat the internal organs and lap the blood as a meal. Weasels often kill more than one rabbit when they invade a hutch, going into a killing frenzy.

What do you do if your rabbit jumps on to the hutch roof and likes grass?

JumpingJumping up on high surfaces ("climbing") is one way that rabbits play. Not all rabbits like to "climb" but some do.If you see your rabbit jumping up on high surfaces (like the hutch roof), make a mental note: your rabbit likes to climb! It's important to provide your rabbit with enjoyable games/toys and outlets for her energies and interests. Look around your home for safe things your rabbit might climb on and put them in her run (or pen, or territory -- wherever it is you let your rabbit out to play, exercise, and socialize daily). Consider turning your rabbit's hutch (or cage, condo, etc.) into a two-level hutch, or putting something inside the hutch your rabbit can climb on. (Your rabbit's hutch should be roomy enough to accomodate a few toys like this. If it isn't, and your rabbit spends more than 12 hours a day in it, it's too small: get a new hutch.)If your rabbit jumps somewhere unsafe, calmly and securely pick her up and put her back on the ground. Don't yell or do anything that might startle the rabbit. Next, think of some way to prevent her from jumping there again (for instance, by blocking off the area somehow).Whenever you lift a rabbit, make sure you support the hind legs. Never lift a rabbit by the ears. Never lift a rabbit by the scruff of the neck alone: the hind legs must always be supported. (A bunny who's hind legs aren't supported can kick out hard enough to break her own back!).GrassGrass is fine for pet rabbits to eat, so long as they're also eating a healthy diet of plenty of hay (unlimited amounts; 24/7 access), high-quality (high-fibre, low-protein, low-fat) pellets daily, fresh greens daily, and few-to-no treats.Risks associated with fresh grass include pesticides and other poisons, and parasites. Always keep your rabbit away from areas where pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other poisons have been used. If your rabbit is an outdoor rabbit, be very careful about parasites: learn about the various signs and symptoms, look for them closely every month, and have your vet test the rabbit's feces at least once a year.

How do you keep your baby rabbit warm outside its got a hutch?

Baby rabbits should be in a nest with the rest of the litter, inside the hutch. The babies are kept warm through their combined body heat. The mother should be with them in the hutch because she needs to feed them (with her milk) - this also keeps them warm. If you have an orphaned baby rabbit, you should keep it inside with you because it needs special care. It's not easy to hand-raise rabbits. For the sake of the rabbit, contact a local wildlife rehabber or rabbit rescue agency and ask for help. Cold weather is a stress on rabbits, and so is reproduction. To limit your rabbit's stress, don't breed her in the winter - only in good weather. Pet rabbits are most comfortable between 50-75F (10-23C). If your rabbit gives birth in the winter, make sure they're all safe and warm. The hutch should be completely dry (protected from rain and snow), and it should face away from the wind. When it gets lower than 50F (10C), all rabbits benefit from having a "nest" box inside their hutch (even if they're not breeding). Put hay in it, too - here they can go to snuggle in and warm up. When it gets lower than 40C, rabbits need to come inside where there's artificial heating. See the related links/questions below for more details.
