If the cat has orange and black/gray, it is most likely to be female. That is because the combination of the orange with black/gray is sex linked to females. It is the same story with calico cats--they are always female.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to determine gender of a cat using the color of its fur. You have to look for its testicles. If it is a kitten, they may not be visible yet, as they are tucked inside its pelvic cavity until it reaches mature breeding age. Asking about fur-gender correlation is like asking "what gender is this person who has brown hair?" If the cat is a calico, then it is normally female. There are very few calico males.

You are referring to a Calico. They are normally female. Males with that coloration are quite rare.

That is impossible to determine without further information on its appearance; if you need to know how to tell the gender of a cat, take it to your vet and watch them.
