I have 10 in a 30 gal aquarium and they are doing fine with other native Atlantic fish BUT only have had them for 2 weeks and they do feed as the others.
They feed by straining plankton and I don't believe there is much to eat with the filter taking everything out.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT THEY WILL EAT??
THANKS
Menhaden fish are found along the Atlantic coast of the United States, from New England down to Florida. They inhabit coastal waters and estuaries, where they play a crucial role in the ecosystem as filter feeders.
You should probably really clean it out really well first, so it is sanatized so it won't make your fish sick. Or you could buy a brand new aquarium so then you won't have to worry if you cleaned it good enough or not, so then your fish can live healthily.
An aquarium , fish bowl ,
You should only have 1 fish per gallon of water in a fish tank. I wouldn't put more than 2 or 3 Neon Tetras in a 4 gallon aquarium with 1 Betta.
Tommy has 5 fish in his aquarium since he has one-fifth of the fish Holly has.
Get a small Aquarium Fish Net, get the body of the Fish, put it in the toilet.
A pogy is known as a menhaden. A menhaden is also known as a mossbunker or bunker and refers to any forage fish of the genera Brevortia and Ethmidium, in the family Clupeidae.
Menhaden fish belong to the family Clupeidae and are primarily represented by two species: the Atlantic menhaden (Brevoortia tyrannus) and the Gulf menhaden (Brevoortia patronus). These fish are important for both commercial fishing and as a forage species in marine ecosystems, serving as a key food source for larger fish, birds, and marine mammals. They are commonly found along the Atlantic coast of North America.

you can as long as you have a filter and a fish tank
The fish will be living alone in the aquarium. And that's ok.
You can put one maybe 2 one-inch fishes in your one gallon aquarium
Once you've put the fish in your tank, you can't sell them.
