Hamsters might bite, because of medical problems. If your hamster does bite regularly make appointments with a vet. If the vet says your hamster is fine then you cannot stop it from biting.you should take the end of a pencial and start sroking it so it gets used to being touched and it wont bite you
Hay, personally why would you want to kill your hamster? And if you dont want it just sell it online. You can get rid of him\her and make some easy cash.
Hello! We've got brains for a reason!
Don't place too many of the same sex in the same cage, and don't place too many in the same cage. They get hyper-aggressive against one another in those situations. make sure that they have avaliable food and water, clean cages, a wheel to run on (they run long distances at night in search of food, so let them simulate that in their cages).
Yeah....hmm....I think so! anyway try and see......
Separate them as soon as they have reached sexual maturity, and never keep hamsters of the opposite sex together (in the case of oriental hamsters. Syrians should always be kept alone).
Well you can feed it every day and give it water but hamsters can't live forever because they have little lives the live only five years
you cant really keep your hamster from biting. once he keeps doing it its either a habit or you have a dirty hand or it is afraid of you.
By biting and scratching. Most likely they would run away. I had a hamster a few years ago, they have sharp teeth and mine had claws, so they can bite and scratch, they also hide and/ or play dead Hamsters protect themselves by biting or hiding. usually biting. Biting. or peeing if scared, or mouthing (not actually leaving a mark) to tell you it wants you to put it down. Hamster bite. In the wild, many types of hamster empty their cheek pouches of seeds and whatever they've hoarded to distract their predator's, which are mainly birds of prey, the bird stops to eat the seeds while the hamster makes its great escape.
yes you can touch the baby hamsters just dont let the mom hamster see you touching them distract the mother by giving it a meaty treat if the mother cacthes you touching her babys then you will not be able to put back baby hamster it will get eaten if you see the mother hamster biting the baby its not biting its just trying to move the baby hamster it cant move the baby by pushing it
Lemon is very bad for hamsters it might even kill them use horse manure it always stops them in there tracks
If your hamster runs away from you, it might mean that he or she is afraid of you, but it might also mean that the hamster is simply not trained. You can train a hamster to come to you by rewarding the hamster with food each time it climbs onto your hand.
To get your hamster to stop biting you try wash your hand with soap and water to get the smell of food off your hands then rub your hands in its bedding that it has in his/her cage and slowly reach towards your hamster if it looks like it wants to bite you pull away SLOWLY!!!! not fast it will scare it if that doesn't work, talk to it softly and hand feed it treats . after you do these your hamster should not bite you anymoreFirst always wash your hands so it won`t smell food on you. Then hold it as much as you can,the more you hold it the less it will bite.
Since there in the dissent family and their brain isn't really that big I doubt you could train a hamster not to bite but if you handle him more and let him get used to you he will most likely stop biting you
its hungry
you have to train them, and give them lots of things to chew on.
Well how long have you had it? Maybe: 1. You need to play/train with your hamster some more. 2. Or it maybe just doesn't like you.
A while ago I had a hamster which was always biting. At first I thought he had a nasty temprement, but later I discovered he had a problem with his intestines which was causing him pain. There is no way of stopping a hamster biting, but when you handle him try using garden gloves do avoid getting bitten.
You have to train it. If it doesn't listen, then you should take it to obedience school.
you can train a hamster
It's hugely unlikely that the hamster died b/c of biting you. More likely it bit b/c it was already feeling ill, and then died.
You will have to train them to stop biting because changing their teeth is cruel to the cat or kitten.
It is called gnawing and all rodents do that. They do it because rodent teeth never stop growing. If you are not sure what exactly a rodent is its a bunny, hamster, guinea pig, hamster, rat, ect.
well, biting. the hampster may bite you.....
To do what!?!?!?
