It depends. A snake in the wild will be terrified of a human, but if a snake is used to you, it will most likely be fine with you. I have a pet snake who struck me through her cage various times for the first week or so I had her. Now she gladly lets me pick her up, and crawls all over me without a single sign that she is afraid. So it really depends on the snake, and the relationship it has with you.
