In Hinduism lot of things has been told for the good of human life, If a person didn't consume anyfood also if he drinks a cow milk, he can stay a healthy life because only cow milk has all the nutritious this, that's why kids and sick patients consume milk if they unable to eat food, In ancient days mens are more dominant so that they can kill cows for meat, so in order to protect that saints said cow is god, so that no one will kill them and kids will get a good milk.
