Apparently, if they chew it thoroughly, and if they eat it enough, it does help clean their teeth and gum, however, my dog just chews it a few times and swallows - so I still brush her teeth. If your dog has bad breath, consider investing in "Oral Care Gel" by Petzlife, it really really helped my dog's breath, and her tartar build up, (she's 13). There's a gel form (mint flavour or salmon mint flavour), and a spray. I bought the salmon mint, it smells a little fishy, but it's because it has omega oils. (Before that, I bought the regular one). Good luck with the smelly mouth. :)
The bones aren't good for dogs and thats whats in the neck.
No ... Do not feed any animal chicken bones. These bones are sharp and will cause harm if they get stuck in the throat or windpipe ... This is inhumane and cruel.
Yes, dog bones are they are GREAT for teething dogs they help your dogs gums! exept trkey, chicken, or any bird type bones they will splinter in your dog's throat and stomach and cause internal bleeding and death
YES. Bird bones are hallow, and they splinter, thus getting stuck in the dogs throat, and/or stomach............Chuck.
Meat is very good for dogs as they are carnivores. They can eat all the meats that are out there in the world. Beef, pork, chicken, turkey, rabbit ect...
if you are feeding him / her human food, stop. that can cause bad breath for dogs. theres this dog treat that they sell all around petsmart, petco, etc called 'greenies' those are suppose to freshen their breath.
You should never give dogs chicken with bones in it because they can splinter and possibly kill the dog. If you remove all the bones, KFC chicken should be fine for dogs.
Not the bones.
No dogs should be given chicken bones, because they splinter easily and could pierce the dog's esophagus.
No. Chicken bones splinter easily. These splinters can cause serous injury to the digestive tract.
People say dogs often choke cooked chicken bones because they splinter (raw chicken bones are no better. Which can lead to the ripping of their gut and sometimes the throat. I recommend to not feed chicken bones to dogs.
Turkey and Chicken bones are fine as long as they are raw.
No! No dogs should eat chicken bone. They do not break the way beef bones break, and splintered chicken bone can be as deadly for dogs as they sometimes are for people.

You should try to keep chicken bones out of a dogs reach and you should not give them the bones to chew on. Chicken bones easily splinter. If the dogs swallow these splinters they can cause serious internal damage. I would take you animal to the vet and have he checked out. They will probably take an x-ray, and if they see the chicken bone lodged anywhere they will have to perform surgery to get it out.
Yes. But if you cook them and then give it to your dogs then they could get splinters in their throat's.
Bones and raw or cooked meat, such as chicken or beef. Just like most normal dogs :)
