yes female start to calm down when you get her fixed but if you have a male to you should get him fixed to or the female won't settle down that easily
If your female cat is fixed aund another male cat is not fixed your female cat should not be attracted to the male cat but the male cat could be attracted to your female cat. ;)
no, they dont
Sometimes a fixed female cat will still have the instinct to urine mark her territory. It can also be a sign of a urinary tract problem or infection. It is best to seek veterinary advice if your cat is marking.
Most male cats will experience a reduction in territorial and aggressive behaviors after being neutered. Hormonal changes that occur after neutering can lead to a calmer demeanor and less likelihood of roaming, fighting, and spraying urine to mark territory. However, individual cat personalities can vary, and some cats may show faster results than others.
Speak to your vet first. Just because there is a female/male cat in the house doesn't always mean they like each other that much and will produce kittens. The cats are older and vets generally like to spay or neuter cats or dogs at a much earlier age and this can be hard on the cats being 5 years old. This is a decision you and your vet are going to have to make. Marcy If you don't want kittens, then yes. Get them fixed. agreed whether they "like" each other or not they WILL do the deed as soon as the chance presents itself....cats can reproduce at an amazing rate rivaled only by rabbits and rodents nip it in the bud asap the younger the better great health benefits faster and easier recovery

Spayed female cats are called just that - spayed, or fixed, female cats.
Female cats are fixed through spaying surgery by removing their ovaries and uterus, which prevents them from becoming pregnant and eliminates their heat cycles.
Usually no because the fixed females no long produce the hormone sent that attract males
No, most cats are not female. The gender distribution of cats is fairly equal, with approximately half being male and half being female.
it takes 300 to 400 dollars to get a cat fixed
Yes. My two cats were in heat when they got fixed. The vet will charge you extra, though.
Neutering or spaying, doesn't matter the animal, will calm them down. The unspayed female will go into heat a number of times per year. They will howl for a mate during the night and keep you up. No matter what animal, they should be fixed so you don't have to go through the agony of watching them be in heat. Also, it's better for the animal to be fixed. I know with female rabbits they can get an ovarian cancer just like us if they're not fixed. Neutered males act very calm and slick, they become more attached to their owner than if they weren't neutered.
Yes, because cats are cuddly, sweet, and calm so they calm you down, too.
When male and female cats fight, the more likely to fight each other would be 2 females if fixed, but more likely two males if they are not fixed.
No, being fixed is supposed to lessen attacks and fights, not increase them.
No cats are'nt calmer than dogs because cats like to scratch and claw. But cats can be calm sometimes
