Speak to your vet first. Just because there is a female/male cat in the house doesn't always mean they like each other that much and will produce kittens. The cats are older and vets generally like to spay or neuter cats or dogs at a much earlier age and this can be hard on the cats being 5 years old. This is a decision you and your vet are going to have to make. Marcy If you don't want kittens, then yes. Get them fixed.
agreed whether they "like" each other or not they WILL do the deed as soon as the chance presents itself....cats can reproduce at an amazing rate rivaled only by rabbits and rodents nip it in the bud asap the younger the better great health benefits faster and easier recovery
